Curious about the wooly world of needle felting?
Join us for a live virtual online class-- or should we say pizza party?!
Through the magic of needle felting techniques, we’ll turn wool into soft sculptural pizza slices with no refrigeration needed. Also learn how to create and add your favorite toppings!
In class you'll all about needle felting: what types of fibers work best, selecting appropriate felting needles, and how to sculpt complex shapes.
Follow along and ask questions in real time with instruction and demonstration from our talented Teaching Artist via the Zoom video platform.
Kit arrives in a real pizza box and includes all necessary tools and supplies to make two slices.
This workshop is open to ages 10 and over.
HOW TO JOIN:
Register here and during checkout select whether you'd like the class supply kit shipped to you or available for pick up at the studio during our limited pickup times. Please register in advance to make sure the kit will arrive in time!
The class will be hosted virtually through Zoom and the details for joining will be emailed to you after you register. Learn more about the technology and accessing our online classes.
Class time listed is Pacific Time Zone.
SUPPLY KITS:
There are two options available for the class kit (see below)
Arrives in a pizza box and includes:
1) Full Supply Kit- everything you need to create about two slices and the tools (small foam base and needles) that can be used for future projects!
2) Just the pizza materials- Already have felting tools (foam base) and just need the specific materials for this project? Then select this option.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please let us know as soon as possible if you're unable to attend. For online classes, we will issue refunds, transfers, or credits of the class registration fee only ($35) and require contact via email in advance of the class with the request. Once the supplies are shipped or marked as ready for pickup, these are now yours to keep regardless if you're able to attend class!

LeBrie Rich (known to some as The Duchess of Felt) is an artist and educator living in Portland. LeBrie’s work in felt has been shown in diverse settings, including museums, galleries, storefront windows, and art vending machines. LeBrie has been teaching felting workshops since 2006 and loves to introduce people the miraculous and fun process of transforming raw wool into felt!
