Sashiko Embroidery Workshop

Regular price $50.00
Join us to learn the art of sashiko in this beginner embroidery class!
A traditional Japanese needlework technique, sashiko was originally used for textile repairs and reinforcements. The graphic repetitive patterns stitched with the unique running stitch are also great for simply adding some amazing decorative embellishment to any piece of fabric. Better yet- combine these uses to mend your favorite jeans with some function and some flair!
In class you’ll learn the technique, hand stitch on fabric squares, and then assemble them into a pair of coasters for your home.
