OUR VISION:

Assembly exists to spark creativity, build community, and create meaningful experiences through hands-on learning. Our goals include:

Creating a “third place”
We aim to be more than just a studio. Assembly will be a community gathering spot — a neutral, welcoming space outside of home or work where people can connect, unwind, and share creativity. Whether you come alone, with a friend, or on a date, our workshops are a safe and friendly space to make something beautiful and meet someone new.

Empowering creativity
We believe everyone is creative. Our workshops are designed to help people discover new hobbies, express themselves, and gain confidence through crafting.

We’re proud to be part of Mesilla, New Mexico—a charming, historic small town full of character and local flavor!

Assembly is just steps away from some fantastic spots to grab a bite, sip a drink, or explore before or after your workshop. Be sure to check out nearby favorites like Dry Point Distillery, Hacienda de Mesilla, FARMesilla, Paisano Cafe, LesCombes Winery, and The Bean Coffee.

And don’t miss a stroll through the beautiful Mesilla Plaza—just down the road and steeped in Southern New Mexico history and charm.

STUDIO HOURS:

The studio is currently only open during our scheduled workshops. At this time, we don't have drop-in crafting or shopping events.

WORKSHOPS & EVENTS:

  • Fun and beginner-friendly – perfect for those with little or no experience
  • Creative and varied – featuring projects like embroidery, weaving, wood burning, resin art, printmaking, and more
  • Affordable – most workshops are priced between $39–$45 and include all materials
  • Social – designed for 10–20 participants, with a casual, inclusive vibe
  • Accessible – all tools and supplies are provided; just bring yourself
  • Primarily for adults (ages 16+) – with plans to expand into youth offerings in the future

SIP & CREATE:

We offer a variety of refreshing beverages in the studio to keep your creativity flowing!

Enjoy a rotating selection of cold drinks like sparkling water, craft sodas, mocktails, kombucha, and iced tea—plus cozy favorites like hot tea, Mexican hot chocolate, and spiced apple cider.

Feel free to bring your own lidded beverage (like a water bottle or coffee). Please note: no alcohol or outside food is permitted in the studio.

CRAFT KITS & SUPPLIES:

Your workshop registration includes all the supplies, tools, and equipment that you'll need to complete your project—just bring your creativity!
