Join us at Rio Grande Winery for a relaxed, creative workshop where you’ll learn the art of decorative wood burning while sipping your favorite drink. Your registration includes guided instruction, all supplies, and a beverage of your choice (up to $8).
You’ll begin by learning the basics of this timeless technique using a modern, pen-like wood burning tool. Practice on small wood pieces as you get comfortable creating lines, textures, and patterns, then design and burn your own artwork onto a beautiful 13.5” × 7.5” premium wood cutting board.
The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that’s both functional and display-worthy—perfect for everyday use or serving.
No experience needed. Just come ready to create.

If you need to cancel, just let us know by email or text at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll issue you a credit to use toward a future class.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for credit, but feel free to give your spot to a friend.

Our adult workshops are designed for ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12-15 can participate if joining with an adult and both are signed up. Check out our kid classes for ages 6-12 here!

All necessary supplies for the class will be provided. Just bring yourself and an open mindset to trying new things!

The winery serves a variety of wines, beers, cocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages. One beverage (up to $8 value) is included in your ticket, but you're welcome to purchase more!
They also have a food menu with small bites and meals. While snacking on an appetizer during the class would likely be fine, save the meal for before or after.
