Celebrate the cozy season with this beginner-friendly needle felting workshop at Rio Grande Winery!
Needle felting is a fun fiber art technique that uses a barbed needle to poke fluffy sheep's wool until the fibers tangle together into a firm, sculpted shape. You'll learn the basics while sculpting your own pumpkin, about 4 to 5 inches wide, plus a bonus project of a few little acorns topped with real acorn caps to string into a mini garland.
Perfect for fall décor, gifting, or your own table display.
No experience is necessary, just come ready to relax, create, and enjoy the satisfying process of sculpting with wool. Your registration includes guided instruction, all materials and tools, and a beverage of your choice (up to an $8 value).

If you need to cancel, just let us know by email or text at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll issue you a credit to use toward a future class.

Our adult workshops are designed for ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12-15 can participate if joining with an adult and both are signed up. Check out our kid classes for ages 6-12 here!

All necessary supplies for the class will be provided. Just bring yourself and an open mindset to trying new things!

The winery serves a variety of wines, beers, cocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages. One beverage (up to $8 value) is included in your ticket, but you're welcome to purchase more!
They also have a food menu with small bites and meals. While snacking on an appetizer during the class would likely be fine, save the meal for before or after.
