Celebrate Mother’s Day, gather with friends, or simply treat yourself to a creative afternoon at Rio Grande Winery.
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll turn delicate blooms and foliage into lasting works of art. Your registration includes guided instruction, all supplies, and a beverage of your choice (up to an $8 value).
You’ll learn the art and science of flower pressing, an inspiring way to preserve nature’s beauty and transform it into jewelry, wall art, cards, and more. We’ll cover which plants press best, how to prepare and handle them, and demonstrate both quick and traditional pressing methods.
Then, you’ll create your own botanical collage using a curated selection of pre-pressed flowers and foliage. You’ll arrange your design on a glass tile and frame it, ready to hang or gift.
No experience necessary. Just come ready to sip, relax, and create.

If you need to cancel, just let us know by email or text at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll issue you a credit to use toward a future class.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for credit, but feel free to give your spot to a friend.

Our adult workshops are designed for ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12-15 can participate if joining with an adult and both are signed up. Check out our kid classes for ages 6-12 here!

All necessary supplies for the class will be provided. Just bring yourself and an open mindset to trying new things!

The winery serves a variety of wines, beers, cocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages. One beverage (up to $8 value) is included in your ticket, but you're welcome to purchase more!
They also have a food menu with small bites and meals. While snacking on an appetizer during the class would likely be fine, save the meal for before or after.
