If your skin is craving a little extra love, especially in our dry desert climate, this workshop is a chance to get hands-on and make something you’ll actually use.

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll work with simple ingredients like beeswax, shea butter, and coconut oil to create your own moisturizers. We’ll cover the basics of working with these natural ingredients, how different formulations come together, and how to customize your creations with optional fragrances.

You’ll make three take-home products: a creamy body butter, a hydrating solid lotion bar, and a silky hand lotion. You’ll also receive a recipe packet with everything you need to make them again at home.

Come make something useful, try your hand at a new skill, and leave with a few things to keep your skin happy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please note that we do not offer refunds for missed workshops.

If you need to cancel, just let us know by email at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll issue you a credit to use toward a future class.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for credit, but feel free to give your spot to a friend.

What is the age limit for this class?

Our adult workshops are designed for ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12-15 can participate if joining with an adult and both are signed up. Check out our kid classes for ages 6-12 here!

Do I need to bring any supplies?

All necessary supplies for the class will be provided. Just bring yourself and an open mindset to trying new things!

Additional tools, supplies, or kits may be available for purchase for you to take home and continue the crafting fun.

Can I bring drinks or food with me?

In the studio we serve a variety of hot and cold beverages and small snacks to fuel your crafting. You may also bring in your own lidded drink (water bottle, coffee, etc). No alcohol permitted and no outside food.
