Whether you're looking for a creative new hobby, hoping to make thoughtful handmade gifts, or simply love candles, this workshop is the perfect place to start.
In this beginner-friendly, hands-on class, you'll learn both the science and art of candle making, going beyond a typical candle-pouring event to understand why each step matters. We'll cover the fundamentals of working with natural wax, fragrance, color, wick selection, and pouring techniques, along with plenty of professional tips to help you achieve beautiful, clean-burning candles at home.
You'll experiment with our collection of fragrances to create a custom scent blend, then measure, melt, mix, color, and pour your own 10 oz candle from start to finish. Along the way, you'll also create a couple of bonus candle-themed projects while your candle cools.
You'll leave with a beautiful custom candle, your bonus creations, and the knowledge and confidence to keep making candles long after class.
No experience is necessary, and all materials and tools are provided.

If you need to cancel, just let us know by email at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll issue you a credit to use toward a future class.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for credit, but feel free to give your spot to a friend.

Our adult workshops are designed for ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12-15 can participate if joining with an adult and both are signed up. Check out our kid classes for ages 6-12 here!

All necessary supplies for the class will be provided. Just bring yourself and an open mindset to trying new things!
Additional tools, supplies, or kits may be available for purchase for you to take home and continue the crafting fun.

In the studio we serve a variety of hot and cold beverages and small snacks to fuel your crafting. You may also bring in your own lidded drink (water bottle, coffee, etc). No alcohol permitted and no outside food.
