Follow along and ask questions in real time with instruction and demonstration from our talented Teaching Artist via the Zoom video platform. You’ll log off feeling relaxed, refreshed, and inspired!


Class Description: 

Resin epoxy is an increasingly popular medium for crafting and after it’s mixed, colored, and poured will dance before your eyes to create stunning patterns. The final result is a beautiful hard high-gloss surface, perfect for unique functional objects such as coasters, serving trays, jewelry, furniture, and more! 

In this hands-on class you’ll learn useful tips and tricks for working with resin, explore color and movement by adding various pigments and additives, and finally use a mold to create a unique and colorful 5” coaster that resembles an agate geode slice (i.e. a fancy rock!)

The kit includes enough material to create a second piece after class and the silicone mold can of course be used countless times after that. This is the perfect way to get started on your resin art journey!

Please note: The poured coaster will need to sit without being moved or disturbed for about 24 hours after class to let the resin set. 



The supply kit includes everything you'll need:

  • 2 oz bottles of Epoxy Resin and Hardener
  • Various pigment colors and mica powder
  • Crushed glass 
  • Mixing cups and stir sticks
  • Reusable 5" silicone mold
  • Plastic gloves
  • Plastic table covering 

Frequently Asked Questions

How early do I need to book this class?

A minimum 3 week lead time is required for this event.

This means that by 3 weeks prior to the class:

  • the event details (date/time and estimated group size) have been confirmed
  • the 50% deposit payment has been received

By 2 weeks prior to the class:

  • The final group size and shipping addresses are confirmed

By 5 days prior to the class:

  • The final payment of the balance due has been received

What if I don't know the final headcount yet?

We require a minimum of 8 people or the cost equivalent of 8 if a smaller group.

You can provide an estimated group size when confirming your booking. A 50% deposit payment will be due at that time and will be based on this estimate.

The final group size and shipping information will be due 2 weeks prior to class.

The final balance payment will be adjusted based on this final group size.

Do you offer international shipping?

Shipping within the US is included in the event cost. International shipping may be available with additional lead time and fees.

I don't have a group but I want to take the class?

Our live virtual classes are only available for groups booking together.

We do have full-length pre-recorded online class videos available to purchase and access anytime.
